PS261 students of all grades are invited to contribute their voices, opinions, and works of literature to the school newsletter and the library blog!
Students can share important school news, topical pieces, art, fiction, poetry, comics, quizzes, and questions. We have two student’s offering advice for our student advice column as well. Inspired and aspiring students can submit their articles to Ms. Vanessa in the library (or in her box in the main office). Not all submitted pieces will be published and they may be subjected to some editing for length or clarity. We will try to include as much student work as possible. Please include students’ full names, grade, and classroom on every submission. Note: April is National Poetry Month, we will be featuring student poetry. Poetry will be prioritized for April’s publication. I can’t wait for the wave of creative work heading my way! Happy creating! -Ms. Vanessa Librarian PS261 P.S. Students are welcome to work on pieces in the library during lunch and during open access hours.
